Exhibición de 12 pinturas de cabras en blanco y negro.

El blanco y el negro representan el cliché del binarismo: la existencia de dos caracteres o fenómenos distintos; dos categorías opuestas y aparentemente excluyentes; la dualidad entre el bien y mal, luz y oscuridad, la vida y la muerte. Negro es el inconsciente, el hundimiento en lo oscuro, en el luto, en las tinieblas; blanco es la pureza, la inocencia y la luz. El papa negro, la casa sombría, la serpiente oscura; la oveja blanca, el ángel de luz, el hombre sereno. Blanco y negro, positivo y negativo, bueno y malo, verdadero y falso, el día y la noche, hombre y mujer, alma y cuerpo.

En un mundo donde no se admiten grises Jesús declara: “Yo sé tus obras, que ni eres frío ni caliente. ¡Ojalá fueras frío o caliente! Pero porque eres tibio, y ni frío ni caliente, te vomitaré de mi boca”.

Black and white represent the cliché of binarism: the existence of two different characters or phenomena; two opposing and apparently exclusive categories; the duality between good and evil, light and darkness, life, and death. Black is the unconscious, the sinking into the dark, into mourning, into darkness; White is purity, innocence, and light. The black pope, the gloomy house, the dark serpent; the white sheep, the angel of light, the serene man. Black and white, positive, and negative, good, and bad, true, and false, day and night, man and woman, soul, and body.

In a world where grays are not allowed, Jesus declares: " I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm -neither hot nor cold- I am about to spit you out of my mouth."

Malos y Buenos es un texto de carácter literario y reflexivo que aborda el problema del binarismo moral a través de la simbología del color blanco y negro. El libro utiliza un tono irónico y ensayístico para cuestionar las categorías simplificadoras con las que se suele organizar la experiencia humana.

A través de fragmentos narrativos, reflexiones breves y observaciones poéticas, el texto explora cómo las categorías de bien y mal operan culturalmente como mecanismos de clasificación, control y juicio.

Evil and Good is a literary and reflective text that addresses the problem of moral binarism through the symbolism of the color black and white. The book uses an ironic and essayistic tone to question the simplifying categories with which human experience is usually organized.

Through narrative fragments, brief reflections and poetic observations, the text explores how the categories of good and evil operate culturally as mechanisms of classification, control, and judgment.
