Vestirme de otro cuerpo parte de una acción aparentemente simple: proyectar la imagen de otros cuerpos sobre el mío propio mediante la luz de un proyector. Este gesto podría leerse, en una primera instancia, como un juego de formas y apariencias, un teatro de lo visible donde la superficie del cuerpo se convierte en pantalla. Sin embargo, “vestirme” con el cuerpo de otro implica algo más que una superposición visual: supone asumir no solo su contorno, sino también aquello que permanece oculto en la forma, su pathos.
Al revestirme con otro cuerpo, adopto su morfología externa, pero también su disposición gestual y anímica. Para habitar esa imagen debo modificarme: extenderme, estirarme, acomodarme o, por el contrario, encogerme, agacharme, contraerme. El cuerpo se ve obligado a ajustarse a una medida ajena, a una postura que no le pertenece del todo. En ese esfuerzo emerge una dimensión menos visible del gesto: el sentimiento, la tensión, el estado de ánimo que sostiene la forma.
La proyección no funciona aquí como un simple recurso técnico, sino como un dispositivo de tránsito entre cuerpos, afectos y presencias. El cuerpo propio se vuelve soporte, archivo y superficie de inscripción de otras corporalidades, activando una experiencia en la que identidad, empatía y extrañamiento se entrelazan. Vestirme de otro cuerpo propone así una reflexión sobre la corporalidad como un territorio permeable, donde la imagen no solo cubre, sino que afecta, transforma y desplaza al cuerpo que la sostiene.

EN/ DRESSING UP AS ANOTHER BODY
Dressing up as another body is based on a simple action: projecting the image of other bodies onto my own through the light of a projector. This gesture could be read, in the first instance, as a game of forms and appearances, a theatre of the visible where the surface of the body becomes a screen. However, "dressing" with the body of another implies something more than a visual superimposition: it means assuming not only their contour, but also that which remains hidden in the form, their pathos.
By dressing myself as another body, I adopt its external morphology, but also its gestural and emotional disposition. To inhabit that image, I must modify myself: extend, stretch, accommodate myself or, on the contrary, shrink, bend, contract. The body is forced to adjust to an alien measure, to a posture that does not belong to it at all. In this effort, a less visible dimension of the gesture emerges: the feeling, the tension, the state of mind that sustains the form.
The video projection does not work here as a simple technical resource, but as a transit device between bodies, affections, and presences. One's own body becomes a support, archive, and surface for the inscription of other corporalities, activating an experience in which identity, empathy and estrangement are intertwined. Dressing Up as Another Body thus proposes a reflection on corporeality as a permeable territory, where the image not only covers, but affects, transforms, and displaces the body that supports it.
